Ground rules

Please review the following rules before starting any cognitive walkthrough:

1. Cell phones should be placed in silent mode.
2. No design discussion during the walkthrough. Participants are allowed to jot down notes as they are performing the walkthrough and submit them to the design team afterwards.
3. Designers will provide minimal clarification during the walkthrough. The designers will offer clarification only if no panels were made for the selected function.
4. Designers will not defend/justify their designs through the walkthrough.
5. All people involved in the walkthrough will behave professionally and not use derogatory language.
6. The facilitator will explicitly (but respectfully) remind people if any of the ground rules are violated.
